This project involved the analysis of existing facilities to assess their compliance with current school planning standards and a Masterplan for the development of the school from 2-stream to 3-stream.
The school has adopted a Teaching and Learning principle of staged-based teaching within year-based learning settings.
Planning has involved Brief development and consultation with School User Groups, a building design relating to the internal refurbishment of existing Teaching and Learning facilities and the construction of 1100m2 of new facilities.
The design of new facilities ensures that the compactness of the existing layout is not compromised whilst providing up to date Teaching and Learning for the Stage 2 and 3 student cohorts.
Working with the relocatable construction industry and drawing on its previous experience and research in this sector, Alleanza is investigating opportunities to provide a bespoke design for the new facilities at the College, as an alternative to traditional construction.
